Juan G Hernandez-Ariano is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional, Analyst and Engineer with a passion for education and delivering top quality services. He’s also member of the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®) of Houston, where he serves as current Chairman as well as former President and Education Director.

He’s been featured in publications, articles, and interviews with different media outlets such as CNBC, Bloomberg, National Public Radio (NPR), Telemundo, Investment News, Market Watch, Financial Planning Magazine, Financial Advisor Magazine, the Houston Chronicle, among others. He was also featured in The Top 100 Magazine as one of the top 100 Financial Professionals in the United States.

Mr. Hernandez-Ariano’s credentials include being a CFP® Practitioner and Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative with We Are One Seven, LLC, and a Certified Student Loan Professional®. He is also life, health, property, and casualty licensed in various States. He has furthered his education by taking the well-respected CFP® Certification Education program at Rice University and the CSLP® Certification Education Program with Humboldt State University. Mr. Hernandez-Ariano obtained a CUM LAUDE title on Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Financial Engineering.

In addition, Mr. Hernandez-Ariano has served in multiple events by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) helping foster children in the Greater Houston Area. He’s also part of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) as well as he’s constantly involved in community and research programs in South America through the Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB). His commitment to business ethics is reaffirmed through his membership to the National Ethics Association (NEA).

Mr. Hernandez-Ariano is an avid golfer and tennis player. He grew up as a Boy Scout and is currently involved in the Saint John Vianney Catholic Church. Mr. Hernandez-Ariano married his college sweetheart, Claudia, in 2016. Together they have two children and currently reside in Houston, TX.
